Why homeowners switch

The lawn guy who answers the phone

Most people call us after the last company stopped showing up in July. We built Boro Lawn Care to be the opposite of that: a published schedule, a real person on the line, and a crew that treats your property the way we would treat our own.

“They quoted the fertilization program, explained exactly what each round does, and did not try to upsell me on anything. Crabgrass is gone.”

“Fall cleanup was a monster after that storm and they still finished in one day. Invoice matched the quote to the dollar.”

Questions

Straight answers before you call

Most quarter–acre properties in Hillsborough land between $45 and $60 per cut, and half–acre lots run $65 to $85. Price depends on turf area, slope, gates and how much trimming there is — not on how big your house looks from the street. Your written quote is a flat rate for the whole season.

No. Season plans are month–to–month and you can cancel with two weeks notice. The only agreement we ask you to sign is the snow removal contract, because we have to reserve equipment for your driveway before winter.

We push you to the next dry day, usually within 48 hours, and you get a text either way. You are never billed for a visit we did not make.

Yes — NJ Home Improvement Contractor registration, $2M general liability, and workers compensation on every crew member. We are happy to send a certificate of insurance before we start.

The first pre–emergent round should go down when soil temperatures hit about 55°F, which in Somerset County is usually mid–March to early April. Miss that window and crabgrass wins the summer, so we schedule early–season rounds first.

We do, and most customers bundle them. Being on a year–round plan means your driveway is already on the plow route before the first storm is forecast.
